Seeing through the fog

Today I had a realization.  Have you ever wondered how this messed up world fits into your belief system?  I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  There are so many ungodly things in this world and it can be hard to find your way through the mess.  I have friends that believe we are living in the End Times.  I'm sure that could be true since crime, violence, and sexual deviance is at an all time high and grows exponentially each day.  I've gotten very confused over people unveiling some very evil things that go on in this world.  Hollywood is ridden with satanic worshipers.  Which scares the pants off me.  It shouldn't.  I'm a GOD fearing woman.  I don't fear satan.  But still, this stuff is becoming more out in the open than ever.  We will soon live in a world where people are praying to father satan and not Father God.  

So this was my realization today - which I've actually known for a long time but just needed the reminder - God does not create chaos or confusion.  He is the embodiment of peace, love, and most of all clarity.  He is THE light in the void.  His mission is not to trick us, but to provide guidance, knowledge, and understanding.  

"Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways." -Proverbs 28:6

Satan will give us anything we desire.  Right?  That's his deception.  Do anything you want.  Look at all the shows on tv these days:  How to Get Away with Murder, The Descendants (Disney), Once Upon a Time, Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad.  I could go on and on.  Since when did being bad equal being good?  We Believers call it our guilty pleasure to watch these kind of shows.  I do it.  I am guilty! But I also remember when watching them where truth lies in the essence of good and bad.  Evil is evil and always will be.  God is good.  All the time.  End of story.

Don't be lost in the fog of temptations.  Remember what sin is and repent.  God loves us no matter what.  But don't turn against Him.  The End is near and your fate will not be pretty if you do.  Satan wants to take us all down with him because he knows God loves us and it will hurt Him to lose his children.  Be a beacon in the night.  Help others find their way to the one true God.
